Want to fine-tune your craft? Not sure how to go about posing? Want to learn to capture real emotions and raw love? Need business and marketing advice? I can help! I am an artist, but I have a strong background in teaching and am excited to offer photography mentoring. It's what I went to graduate school for! I love to teach and help people find their "ah ha!" moments. I have experience teaching students of all ages, from elementary school through adult learners working to earn their GED. Combining my loves of photography AND teaching has always been my ultimate goal!

Mentoring

So, you tell me what you want to work on - families, babies, weddings... and we plan from there. You'll gain hands-on experience and have some photos to add to your growing portfolio. You will learn how to run a successful photography business and how to keep clients coming back, wanting more.

From a short Q+A coffee meet up to half- and full-day mentoring sessions, we can work on what you need. Posing, portfolio building, finding and prepping your clients for their photo sessions, marketing plans, or complete workflows we focus on what you want. We can schedule hands-on sessions so that you learn firsthand with me as your guide. I'll hold your hand and help you learn to take your photography business to the next level.

“Mentoring with Jacqie is phenomenal! The images I took working side-by-side with Jacqie’s teaching of lighting, posing, and capturing genuine emotion are my best yet! After taking so many online photography courses, working with Jacqie was a breath of fresh air. You can’t learn from an online course what Jacqie can teach during a mentoring session! The experience was fun, full of all the things I wanted to know, and so incredibly fulfilling. Without a doubt, worth the investment!”
